Maritime Progress has a complete CAD design department including experienced staff with in depth knowledge of mandatory requirements for Safety Plans, Fire Control Plans, Phased Evacuation Plans and all similar documentation required by regulatory bodies. This department allows us to offer full colour laminated drawings to AO+ size including colour laser A3 & A4 prints. All work is carried out using the latest internationally recognized IMO/ISO graphical symbols.

Regulations
All ships are required to carry at least two fire plans (or, at the discretion of the administration, booklets containing fire plans can issued to each officer, with an additional booklet displayed in a prominent position). One plan must be permanently displayed in an accessible area and one stored in a prominently marked, weather tight container fixed outside the deck house, see fire plan holder Plans must be kept up to date, see fire plan pictograms

The requirement of Fire Control & Safety Plans is covered by the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) 1972, including amendments:

  1. IMO Resolution A654 (16) 19/11/89 Graphic Symbols for Fire Control Plans.
  2. IMO Circular 699 17/7/1995 Revised guidelines for Passenger safety Instructions.
  3. IMO Resolution A756 (18) 4/11/1993 Guidelines on the information to be given with Fire Control Plans and Booklets. As required by SOLAS Chapter II-2 Regulation 20 and 41-2.
  4. IMO Resolution A760 (18) Symbols related to Life Saving Appliances and Arrangements.
